How to Add Your Sharp Certified Badge to Your Website
Congratulations on becoming Sharp Certified. This page walks you through adding your badge to your website, one site builder at a time. It usually takes a couple of minutes.
You’ll need your badge code. It’s on your personal badge page (the link in our invite email), and we include it in our reminder emails too. The code shows your badge and links it to your listing, so customers can click through and see your reviews. If you can’t find it, just reply to any of our emails and we’ll send it.
Why add the badge to your website
- Customers can verify it. The badge links to your listing on Knife Sharpening Finder, where your Sharp Certified status, reviews and commitments are shown. Anyone can click it and see the certification is real.
- It builds trust before the first call. Most people choosing a sharpener have never met you. An independent certification based on your real Google reviews tells them you’re a safe bet with their knives.
- It helps people find your listing. Links like this help Knife Sharpening Finder show up in Google, and when it does, local customers searching for a sharpener see your listing, with your badge on it.

- Click Publish.
Tip: to show it on every page, drag the box into your footer.

Other site builders
Most builders have a block or section called HTML, Custom HTML, Embed or Embed code. Add one where you want the badge, paste your badge code, and publish. If your web designer manages your site, you can forward them the code and this page.
No code option?
If your site won’t take code, we can send you your badge as an image file. Just reply to any of our emails (the invite or the “badge is added” email) and ask for your badge image. We’ll send the right badge for your business along with the link to use.
Once you have it, add it with your builder’s Image block and set the image’s link to your listing page on Knife Sharpening Finder.
Facebook and Google Business Profile
Ask us for your badge image (see above) and post it as a photo. A line like “We’re Sharp Certified on Knife Sharpening Finder” with a link to your listing lets customers see your reviews and verify the certification.
